Wakefield Communications

Marylou Wakefield is a freelance writer and communications/public relations specialist who believes in the power of a compelling story. For more than 20 years, she has written on a wide variety of subjects for business and consumer publications and recently for yachting magazines in the UK and Canada. Marylou sits on the Board of the Canadian Public Relations Society.

Currently, she writes articles, responds to hundreds of email from interested people around the world, and develops and manages a website http://kimchowaroundtheworld.com that chronicles the daily progress of  husband Glenn, who is attempting to set the world record as the first person to circumnavigate the world single-handed, non-stop west about from North America. 

A book about the journey is in the works.
